Storage, Conveyance & Transport
Rig Operators wants bang for their buck. What they can get is exactly that, the multi-functional 20ft, Dual Fuse ISO tank container that affords Rig Operators one single piece of equipment that can be deployed for three different functions. ‘Versatility in an ISO container frame!’
Dual Fuse Waste Management System “the moving pipe line”
The Dual Fuse drill cuttings waste management system affords Rig Operators what matters most i.e. “throughput.”
A key benefit of the Dual Fuse system is ‘throughput of Drill cuttings.’ The Dual Fuse ISO tank container is multi-functional in that it after it is loaded pneumatically with drill cuttings it will become a short-term storage tank for the drill cuttings until it is discharged through pneumatic dense phase conveyance into Dual Fuse ISO tank containers units located on the PSV (Platform Supply Vessel).
In most cases the Dual Fuse ISO tank containers will be positioned on their sides i.e. in horizontal plane. The PSV will then transport the laden Dual Fuse ISO tank containers tanks to shore where they are offloaded by a crane and transported by road as regular 20 ft. ISO tank containers to a land-based drilling waste processing facility.
In the event there is a suitable land drill cuttings storage tank facility, the Dual Fuse tanks may, at the discretion of the Rig Operator, be positioned in vertical plane on the PSV supported by vertical boat frames. Under such scenario the Dual Fuse tanks can be emptied into the land storage tanks upon completion of which the PSV can return to the Rig to refill the ISO tanks.
