It is one thing to collect drill cuttings in perpetuity, it is quite another to manage the efficient collection, primary recovery of valuable materials such as base oil and drilling muds for the purpose of re-use and manage the storage of drill cuttings meant for disposal.
The Dual Fuse system built up out of a number of modules designed according ISO1496/III, makes a difference, where it matters. Space is something Rigs don’t generally have to spare. When operating the Dual Fuse system, Rig Operators avoid racking up drill cuttings pile up and congestion of multiple skips and vacuum boxes which call for high intensity use of cranes.
The self-contained Dual Fuse system that starts upstream encompasses the shale shaker together with screw conveyor and feed hopper from where the drill cuttings are deposited into the DF cuttings blower which pneumatically conveys the drill cuttings via a custom designed circuitry of 5” pipe lines into the DNV 2.7.1-EN!2079, ISO10855-1. ISO1496/III, Dual Fuse tank containers.
